Speed Indicator Device

You may have noticed the speed indicator device that has been up in Burgh over recent months. This device is shared with Tuttington and captures data that we can use to better understand any vehicle speed issues that we might have in the Parish.

Please note: the sign does not record car registration details and additional information can be obtained from the Burgh & Tuttington Parish Council website.

Below is a summary of the data that was captured in December when positioned at the east of Burgh.

What this is telling us is that from 29 November to 29 December 2024:

  • The fastest speed recorded was: 60 MPH

  • Number of vehicles coming into the village from the east: 7914

  • Average speed: 29.54 MPH
