County Broadband

You may have noticed the telephone poles going up around the village during the recent road closures - this is in preparation for County Broadband Ltd’s rollout of fibre to Burgh. I had a conversation with County Broadband who advised below:

Your village is due to have the infrastructure built by the end of December 2023, assuming no unexpected delays occur.

Our Build team will then begin performing surveys and projected build arrangements, following the completion of these they will contact the local & highways authorities for the relevant permits and permissions to carry out our plans.

Once this stage has been completed an estimated date of delivery will be given and our marketing department will send out a corresponding letter to all residents with pre-orders advising of the planned dates of completion.

As of now we do not have any plans provided from the build team until the above has been completed and therefore we cannot advise on an estimated date of delivery.

We can advise that we aim to attempt to provide Full Fibre Broadband to all residents who have signed the pre-order. Be this being done by an overhead connection or an underground connection.

If you would like more information contact County Broadband on service@countybroadband.co.uk or on 01376 562 002.
